Back pain is a very common condition and an estimated 80% of adults will suffer lower back pain at some point in their life.
With a comprehensive assessment and screening process for clients presenting with lower back pain we can provide a progressive exercise programme whilst monitoring exercise intensity to train in a safe environment with psychosocial support for the client along the way.
Exercise for coping with back pain can:
- Provide reassurance that your back pain is actually quite normal, and you can quickly get back to active daily living and functional tasks.
- Identify muscular imbalances, restrictions and postural issues which may be contributing to lower back pain and provide targeted solutions.
- Mobilise the spine and surrounding muscles.
- Help you to manage and accept your pain levels. Reduce disability through chronic lower back pain and improve quality of life.
- Get you back to work/family life / leisure activites as soon as possible.
- Deal with back pain caused by disk derangement, spondylolysis, spondyliolisthesis and stenosis and non-specific lower back pain (around 85% of back pain)
